One of the most frequently asked questions the C Squared Group receives is whether or not job seekers are welcome at our events.
Some thoughts on this topic:
1 – We at the C Squared Group have a deep appreciation for the challenges that job seekers face in the current market – And there are many ways we can help. However, in order to preserve the integrity and focus of our events, C Squared Group events are strictly closed to job seekers.
2 – The C Squared Group does look to verify employment status of all attendees at our events. This is an imperfect process due to the large number of events that we host. We do ask that all attendees respect these restrictions and we will make sure we continue to improve our screening processes. One way we are doing this is by building out our Host Committee and Brand Ambassador programs.
3 – We are actively developing out a platform to help promote compelling job opportunities to our large and growing audience of qualified professionals. That is a very unwise decision.
We appreciate that many job seekers may feel this way -- But senior professionals that frequent our events require us to create an environment that allows them to meet other employed, senior professionals.
There are many other groups that are open to all people irrespective of industry or employment status.
Our events have a strict industry focus, are closed to people not actively employed in the industry in question, and are not a forum for solicitors or job seekers.
We are confident that our members respect the work that we do to ensure that their time spent at our events is highly productive.
